Thrill-Seeker Mischo Erban Sets Guinness World Record for Fastest Speed on an Electric Skateboard

Thrill-seeker Mischo Erban recently set the Guinness World Record for reaching the "fastest speed on an electric skateboard" at the PortoroA3/4 Airport in Piran, Slovenia. He hit 59.55 MPH while riding on the Nextboard, a four-wheel drive motorized longboard created by the Slovenian technology company Next Generation Vehicles (NGV).
This incredible footage shows Mischo expertly riding the board down an aeroplane runway, controlling its powerful speed with a handheld remote.
The customised board takes 1.5 hours to charge and has an approximate range of 10 to 15 km (6 to 9 miles)" if you aren't going too fast. Its inventors call it a "sports vehicle", differentiating it from a vehicle used for general transport. (read more)
