The First Trailer for the Ghostbusters Reboot Film Brings Together an All New Team of New York Monster Hunters

The first official trailer for Sony's upcoming Ghostbusters reboot film, directed by Paul Feig, was released on a recent episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The trailer brings a new team of paranormal monster hunters together 30 years after New York was saved by the original group of guys. It will star Kristen Wiig as Erin Gilbert, Melissa McCarthy as Abby Yates, Kate McKinnon as Jillian Holtzmann, and Leslie Jones as Patty Tolan. Ghostbusters is currently scheduled to release in theaters on July 15th, 2016.

Ghostbusters makes its long-awaited return, rebooted with a cast of hilarious new characters. Thirty years after the beloved original franchise took the world by storm, director Paul Feig brings his fresh take to the supernatural comedy, joined by some of the funniest actors working today - Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, and Chris Hemsworth.
