Adam Savage of MythBusters Builds an Elaborate Fart Machine

For a recent episode of MythBusters, co-host Adam Savage built an elaborate fart machine to test a myth about farts appearing on infrared video footage. To properly test the myth, the simulated farts had to leave the machine at body temperature, so Savage used a heated water bath to bring an air chamber up to the correct temperature before releasing the phony flatus.
