Amazon reverses 'backward' decision to remove encryption from Fire tablets

Facing criticism for removing default encryption from its latest version of the Fire operating system, Amazon has said it will reinstate encryption this spring

Amazon has reversed its decision to remove a security feature in its Fire OS software that protects sensitive information stored its tablets, e-readers and other hardware devices.
