Happy to see that the Panasonic RF-2200 remains his reference AM rig. I must agree: it's the best portable I've ever used on the mediumwave band. I'm so glad I snagged a '2200 on eBay last year.
Tuning the RF-2200 in the field makes me feel like some sort of Cold War spy.
A radio with fortitude and purpose.
