Jets' Enstrom scheduled for surgery to repair wonky knee
by from on (#17YEX)
Winnipeg Jets middle-pair defenseman Toby Enstrom will undergo surgery to repair a troublesome knee that's plagued him throughout the season, head coach Paul Maurice announced Tuesday.
He's out indefinitely.
Enstrom's had a down season offensively, chipping in just 16 points in 72 starts. His underlying numbers, though, have been sufficient.
He still has two years and $11.5 million left on his contract, and should be on the mend in time for training camp.
