Mark Stone, meet Dustin Byfuglien.

The Ottawa Senators forward was absolutely rocked by the Jets defenseman on a seemingly clean, yet devastating, body check Wednesday in Winnipeg.

Byfuglien wasn't penalized for the hit, but earned two minutes in the box for slashing in the ensuing melee.

Somehow, Stone was able to return to the bench shortly after leaving for examination. During the second intermission, however, it was announced he sustained a chest injury and wouldn't return.

After the game, it was announced Stone wouldn't immediately travel to Minnesota for Thursday's date with the Wild.

Mark Stone is staying in Winnipeg for further examination. Coach Dave Cameron reiterated it's not a head injury. #Sens
