Help Laughing Squid Grow As an Independent Blog Through a Monthly Pledge of Support

I'm excited to announce that we've just partnered with Thankroll, a service that offers a convenient way for our readers who want to help support Laughing Squid with a monthly pledge of a $1 or more.

Laughing Squid is an independently run blog and our goal is to stay that way. We're not part of any large blog network and we've never taken any outside funding. The money raised through this new system will help with the growth and ongoing operations of the blog, including paying our existing bloggers, hiring additional bloggers/editors as well as improving the overall experience for our readers.

Currently advertising is the primary source of our revenue, along with some additional funding through our web hosting services and our store. The hope is that over time with your support, you will help us become less reliant on advertising as well as continue to improve the quality of existing advertising.
