Things turned ugly in Philadelphia during Game 3.

On a night where the Flyers and their fans paid tribute to late owner Ed Snider, some in the crowd expressed frustration over a slew of penalties called against the home team by throwing commemorative wristbands onto the ice, prompting this announcement:

PA announcer pleads with fans to stop chucking wristbands. "This is Philly, this is not somewhere else in the NHL....Have some class."

That pleading failed.

As a last-ditch effort, Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin and Flyers forward Wayne Simmonds teamed up, asking fans to knock it off, but to no avail.

The Flyers were assessed a delay of game penalty shortly thereafter.
