Rick Nash came up big for the New York Rangers in Game 3 - and on the penalty kill, of all situations.

The scoring winger recorded his first career short-handed playoff goal with an absolute rocket of a wrist shot past Matt Murray of the Pittsburgh Penguins, giving the Rangers a second-period lead Tuesday.

He finally gave the home crowd something to cheer about in the process.

Rangers' home playoff scoring drought ends at 166:22.
