Skilled Barista Demonstrates How to Make a Colorful Rainbow Latte

Inspired by the amazing rainbow latte by Las Vegas barista Mason Salisbury, food editor Jen Carlson and video producer Jessica Leibowitz, both of Gothamist, visited the Brooklyn Roasting Company where lead barista Kelsey Forde demonstrated how to prepare a rainbow latte (steamed milk only). Forde also showed how to make several other colorful drinks, including a purple one dedicated to the memory of Prince.

"Make a Prince one!" we demanded. "Now make one WITH coffee!" And since this rainbow trend has got to end (please?), we asked for an all-black, totally goth, post-rainbow latte.
