The St. Louis Blues and San Jose Sharks appear set to go shot-for-shot.
Just 34 seconds after David Backes deflected his seventh goal of the postseason past Martin Jones to give his club a 1-0 lead, Tomas Hertl got a foot on a puck, redirecting it past Brian Elliott.

Pavelski originally looked to have scored his 10th of the playoffs, which would have pushed him one ahead of Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov for the league lead, but a stats correction awarded Hertl with his third of the playoffs.
