Stars sign Brett Ritchie to 1-year contract

The Dallas Stars have signed forward Brett Ritchie to a one-year contract, the club announced Friday.
Ritchie played only eight games with Dallas this season, registering one assist, but scored 28 points in 35 games in the AHL.
The 22-year-old was selected by the Stars 44th overall in the 2011 draft.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
