Scientists Create a Microscopic Pac-Man Style Maze for Unicellular Organism Research

Scientists from the Micro and Nano Systems Technology department at University College of Southeast Norway built a 1 millimeter wide maze based on the 1980s Pac-Man arcade game to see how unicellular organisms behave in a life-or-death situation. Professor Erik Andrew Johannessen worked alongside filmmaker Adam Bartley to bring the project to life and used neon lights to give it the retro Pac-Man video game look.
