Hamilton Raises a Glass to Its Original Cast After Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Final Show (For Now)

Hamilton raised a glass to its original cast with a tribute video after creator and star Lin-Manuel Miranda's final show as Alexander Hamilton, for now at least. Miranda's last appearance was July 9, 2016 which also marked the departures of co-stars Leslie Odom Jr. (Aaron Burr) and Phillipa Soo (Eliza Schuyler Hamilton).

That show's curtain call was broadcast live on Facebook so fans around the world could say goodbye, but Miranda was less than subtle about the possibility of his eventually returning to the role when asked about it by a fan on Twitter.
