Atlanta Falcons fans can breathe a sigh of relief.

Limited since sustaining an injury during the first on-field session of training camp Thursday, Julio Jones' status has been somewhat of a mystery to start the summer.

Though he's declined to share specifics on the ailment, and the team isn't yet obligated to create official injury reports, Jones doesn't expect the issue to affect him for too long.

"I feel great," Jones said Saturday, according to Vaughn McClure of ESPN. "Definitely nothing to worry about. Precautionary reasons, but I'm good to go: 100 percent. Just taking it slow. I'm just so explosive. I always get something that's tight or something. It's good. I just keep getting treatment and stretching it out. Eating right. I'm hydrating. But I'm good. It's nothing serious or anything like that that's going to prevent me from playing."

Head coach Dan Quinn also said he expects Jones to be back at full strength relatively soon, so the still undisclosed injury indeed appears to be minor.

Even if it means limiting his reps during practices and preseason games in the coming weeks, the Falcons will be focused on ensuring Jones is healthy heading into Week 1.

The three-time Pro Bowler remains the key to Atlanta's offensive success coming off a stellar 2015 season. Despite having to work through some early injuries, Jones hauled in an impressive 136 receptions for 1,871 yards and eight touchdowns while starting all 16 games.
