Filmmaker Sets Olympic Tennis in Interesting Scenes Thanks to the Field’s Green Background

The Olympic tennis final being played on a giant green screen.
Filmmaker Graham Hughes took advantage of the bright green background around the tennis courts at the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics using it as a green screen to set the matches in new and interesting scenes like under water, on a lava flow, and even in the opening title crawl of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.
A similar technique was also used to add backgrounds to clips of dancing Olympic weightlifter David Katoatau.
