Great Big Story has ventured into the the world of Wasteland Weekend, a four-day post-apocalyptic Mad Max style party and festival that takes place in California's Mojave Desert. It features people from all walks of life coming together in their wasteland costumes to have a good time.
Each year, nearly 3,000 desolation enthusiasts dress in the required post-apocalyptic style dress code, while festival organizers design and build elaborate set pieces. As long as you're willing to commit to the dystopian spirit, you'll be welcomed with open arms.
