Enstrom returns to Sweden indefinitely for personal reasons
The Winnipeg Jets will be without Toby Enstrom for an indefinite period of time.
The defenseman has returned to Sweden to tend to a personal family matter and there is no timetable for his return to the club.
"He had to get home to Sweden for a family situation that's come up briefly with the full and complete support of the Winnipeg Jets organization," head coach Paul Maurice said Thursday, according to the team's website. "We're hopeful that he comes back and it's a positive result, and we get him back real soon. But I don't know when he's going to be able to return"
Enstrom ranks third among Jets defensemen with an average ice time of 22:22 this season, recording a goal and six assists in 22 games.
