Great Big Story visited with Lya Battle, the amazing woman who runs Territorio de Zaguates (Land of Mutts), a no-kill sanctuary in Costa Rica for mixed breed dogs. All the dogs are welcome to spend their entire lives should they not be adopted by a loving family. Calling it a "labor of love", Battle and her entire staff care for over 700 dogs at any one time.
