A Simple Machine That Launches Interesting Loops of String That Hold Themselves in the Air
by Glen Tickle from Laughing Squid on (#25DM7)
School science teacher Bruce Yeany demonstrates his String Shooter, a simple machine that launches continuous loops of strings that hold themselves up and form interesting shapes in the air. Yeany shows how the loops behave when pushed or when the launch angle of the String Shooter is changed while explaining the physics at work.
