Lenovo slaps Kaby Lake CPUs in Thinkpad X1 and Legion laptops

Lenovo is charging out of the gate at the Consumer Electronics Show with new portable machine. On one corner, we have machines representing its stalwart Thinkpad business-oriented brand. On the opposite end, there's the company's new Legion gaming marque. All of the machines pack Intel's latest seventh-generation Kaby Lake CPUs. The Thinkpad X1 Carbon is a traditional slim laptop, the Thinkpad X1 Yoga is a cross between a laptop and a tablet, and the Legion Y520 is a gaming laptop with gamer-oriented aesthetics and discrete graphics cards.
