Why Israel Kirzner Deserves a Nobel Prize

Israel Kirzner has, along with William Baumol and Harold Demsetz, done more than any other living modern economist to improve our understanding of competitive behavior and the operation of the price system in a market economy, and thus deserves serious consideration for the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences.
