Law society investigating after law firm spent $1.5M meant for people in Caledonia

In 2011, some 440 residents, 400 businesses and some subcontractors got a $20 million settlement after the Caledonia Douglas Creek Estates occupation. Now the law firm representing them says it's spent some of the money and can't pay it back.
