Environmental activists warned of out-of-town trucks on Red Hill 19 years ago

The city of Hamilton is doing a survey to prove out-of-town trucks are using the Red Hill Valley Parkway (RHVP) as a shortcut from one provincial highway to another. But nearly 20 years ago, a group of highway opponents warned decision makers of exactly that - only to be largely ignored.
