Bob Simon (1941-2015), Award-Winning CBS News Foreign News Correspondent and ’60 Minutes’ Reporter

CBS News has confirmed that Bob Simon, the award-winning foreign news correspondent and report for the long-running news show 60 Minutes, succumbed to the injuries he sustained from a car accident on the West Side Highway and was pronounced dead at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital. He was 73 years old.
Rest in peace Mr. Simon. You will be missed.
