An Incredibly High Resolution Time-Lapse of Rio de Janeiro

To demonstrate the extraordinarily high resolution of the 80-megapixel PhaseOne IQ180 camera system, photographer Joe Capra put together a time-lapse video of Rio de Janeiro that was recorded in 10K high definition-10,328 by 7,760 pixels. Each shot is presented in three levels of zoom: 14% (1,920 by 1,080, Vimeo's maximum resolution), 50%, and full resolution. For anyone that might like to take their own 10K photographs, do keep in mind that the IQ180 camera back (sans camera body and lens) costs about as much as a nicely equipped BMW 3-series.
