‘Unconditional Rebel’, A Slow-Motion Music Video Featuring a Complex Scene Recorded at 1,000 Frames Per Second

In the remarkable slow-motion music video for "Unconditional Rebel" by siska, a complex tableau featuring 80 actors unfolds in exquisite slow motion over the course of three minutes and 24 seconds-the actual shot, however, was only five seconds long. To achieve the effect, a Phantom Flex4K high-speed camera-recording at 1,000 frames per second-was driven along the film set at 31 miles per hour. The video was written and directed by Guillaume Panariello with visual effects by La Planete Rouge.
