Running one's own mail system on the Internet has become an increasinglydifficult thing to do, to the point that many people don't bother, even ifthey have the necessary skills. Among the challenges is spam; withouteffective spam filtering, an email account will quickly drown under adeluge of vile offers, phishing attempts, malware, and alternative facts.
