Report: Buccaneers trade J.J. Wilcox to Steelers
by from on (#3144S)
Just days after adding Joe Haden, the Pittsburgh Steelers apparently continued to bolster their secondary, as a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter that the club traded for Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety J.J. Wilcox on Sunday.
The Steelers will reportedly also receive a 2019 seventh-round pick, with the Bucs getting a 2018 sixth-round selection.
Wilcox never actually played a game for Tampa Bay, as he signed a two-year deal in March after four seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. He'll add depth to a Steelers secondary that ranked 17th against the pass last season.
