Good thing Matt Lauer has a day job.

The "Today" host took a few minutes of airtime Wednesday to test his shooting skills on Vegas Golden Knights goalie Marc-Andre Fleury, coming away with varying degrees of success.

Fleury attended the show alongside Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid, Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Seth Jones, and New York Rangers captain Ryan McDonagh.

The group was in Manhattan on Wednesday as part of the NHL media tour to promote the upcoming season, which begins Oct. 4.
