With the New York Giants' season opener versus the Dallas Cowboys a mere four days away, Odell Beckham Jr. remains hopeful he'll be ready to go despite an ankle injury.

"I wouldn't count it out yet," Beckham said Wednesday regarding playing in Week 1, according to NFL Network's Judy Battista.

Beckham didn't officially take part in practice Wednesday, but he was seen moving around and jogging with his teammates during warmup.

Giants head coach Ben McAdoo emphasized Wednesday that Beckham can play Sunday if cleared by team doctors, even if he's unable to practice throughout the week, according to Battista.
