Report: Seahawks' Rawls may be held out Week 1 with ankle injury
by from on (#31QFK)
The Seattle Seahawks could hold out Thomas Rawls from playing in their Week 1 contest against the Green Bay Packers in order to let the running back's ankle get closer to 100 percent, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Rawls was a full participant in practice all week, but drew a questionable designation in regards to his availability for the season opener. The two-year pro added just two carries during the preseason, both coming in the first week of exhibition games.
The rushing duties figure to be split between Eddie Lacy and C.J. Prosise with Chris Carson a possible option as well.
