Despite numerous injuries around the league, Colin Kaepernick remains unsigned - but it's certainly not due to a lack of talent, according to the latest quarterback to land a job in the NFL.

Following an injury to Marcus Mariota, the Tennessee Titans signed Brandon Weeden to help with their quarterback depth, and the 33-year-old made it clear on Wednesday that players around the league think Kaepernick is more than capable of landing a job.

"He's had a heck of a career. He played in a Super Bowl. Obviously, he's done a lot of really good things," Weeden told Jason Wolf of The Tennessean. "I think us as players, we all kind of firmly believe that he's a good enough player to play in this league."

Weeden has thrown 31 touchdowns and 30 interceptions throughout his NFL career with the Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys, and Houston Texans.

Head coach Mike Mularkey claimed that Kaepernick's unfamiliarity with the Titans' offensive system ruled out the former San Francisco 49ers pivot from consideration.
