Report: Bradford out, Keenum to start Sunday vs. Packers
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers, so backup Case Keenum will start, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Bradford wasn't on the practice field for the part of Friday's session open to media due to a knee injury, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Bradford was benched after a brief and unproductive return against the Chicago Bears, completing five of 11 pass attempts for just 36 yards and no touchdowns.
Head coach Mike Zimmer later confirmed Bradford aggravated the knee injury which had previously sidelined him since the season opener.
Keenum, who started the Vikings' previous three games, went 17-for-21 for 140 yards through the air against Chicago, throwing for a touchdown and also rushing for 22 yards.
