Mike McCarthy suggested Sunday the Green Bay Packers won't look externally to replace injured quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who could miss the rest of the season with a broken collarbone.

"Brett Hundley is my quarterback," the 12th-year head coach told reporters after the Packers fell 23-10 to the Minnesota Vikings, per Jason Wilde of ESPN. "Joe Callahan is the backup."

Speculation began flying immediately after Rodgers' prognosis was announced that the Pack could look to pry Tony Romo out of retirement, sign Colin Kaepernick, or pursue some other veteran quarterback via the trade or free-agent market.

McCarthy: We're going to rally around this thing & put together a game plan to beat the Saints. I have confidence in Brett Hundley.

Hundley, a third-year pro out of UCLA, went 18-of-33 for 157 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions after taking over for Rodgers.

Green Bay dropped to 4-2 with Sunday's loss.
