The NFLPA has filed a temporary restraining order in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York that would delay Ezekiel Elliott's six-game suspension again, a source told ESPN's Josina Anderson.

The ruling on the motion is expected to be determined in court Tuesday.

Elliott was granted an injunction that blocked his suspension before the season by a federal judge in Texas, but the federal appeals court in New Orleans lifted that motion last week.

The Dallas Cowboys running back is currently prohibited from reporting to the team facility after its Week 6 bye and will not be allowed to play Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. Elliott was suspended six games due to domestic violence allegations that the NFL investigated for over a year.
