Report: Seahawks considering Jimmy Graham trade
The Seattle Seahawks have discussed trading tight end Jimmy Graham in order to improve their offensive line, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
The talks have involved acquiring Houston Texans left tackle Duane Brown, who returned from a holdout this week, Rapoport adds.
The Seahawks and Texans play Sunday at 4 p.m. ET.
The Seahawks landed Graham in 2015 by trading center Max Unger and a first-round pick to the New Orleans Saints.
Graham is being discussed for cap reasons. He's in the final year of his contract and comes with a $10-million cap hit this season.
Through six games, the veteran tight end has 24 receptions for 230 yards and two touchdowns.
The team's offensive line is an area of concern, however. Starting left tackle George Fant suffered a season-ending ACL injury in the preseason, and the Seahawks have been playing sophomore Rees Odhiambo at the position.
Brown is a three-time Pro Bowler and former All-Pro.
