Disgruntled Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Martavis Bryant was not traded by Tuesday's 4 p.m. ET trade deadline and remains with the team heading into Week 9.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports teams called about acquiring the receiver's services, but the Steelers declined.

Rumors circulated around Bryant's future with the Steelers following a series of social media outbursts from the receiver.

He was benched for the team's Week 8 game against the Detroit Lions, allowing rookie wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster to go off with seven receptions for 193 yards and a touchdown.

Bryant has totaled just 18 receptions on a modest 36 targets, recording just 234 yards and a lone touchdown.

The Steelers selected Bryant with the 118th pick in the 2014 draft, but a series of off-field issues have limited him to just 28 career games.
