Last month, the Bloodhound supersonic car ran a series of public "slow speed" trials for the first time at the Cornwall Airport Newquay in Cornwall, UK. Driver and fighter pilot Andy Green was able to get the incredibly fast vehicle up to 200 MPH in 8 seconds. Green and the Bloodhound SSC team's final goal is to set a new world land speed record of 1,000 MPH.
