NFL confirms Elliott suspension would include playoffs if delayed
If Ezekiel Elliott's case is delayed to the point when the suspension would cover playoff games, the Dallas Cowboys' running back would still be required to serve the ban, an NFL spokesman confirmed Friday:

The confusion comes from the wording of Elliott's suspension letter from the NFL, which stated he was suspended for "six (6) regular-season games."
Elliott will likely challenge the NFL if his appeal - which is his last shot at overturning the ban - extends past Week 12 and forces him to potentially miss postseason games, Amy Dash of CBS Sports reports.
The star runner was granted an administrative stay of his suspension Friday, meaning he's eligible to play in Week 9.
