Chiefs' Hali: Cowboys are 'best team in the league'

The 5-3 Dallas Cowboys have won three fewer games than their division rival Philadelphia Eagles - whose 8-1 mark leads the league - while seven other teams have a superior record.

But after Dallas took it to Kansas City in Week 9, winning 28-17, Chiefs linebacker Tamba Hali said he believes the Cowboys are the best the NFL has to offer.

"I think that's the best team in the league," Hali said, according to Jori Epstein the Dallas Morning News. "Apart from us, that team is really good."

The Eagles' only loss this season came at the hands of the 6-3 Chiefs, and when asked specifically if Dallas is better than Philadelphia, Hali didn't back off his hot take.

"Yeah," Hali said. "My personal opinion."

It won't be long until Dallas gets its chance to prove Hali right, as the Cowboys and Eagles face off on Sunday Night Football in Week 12.
