Broncos' Lynch exits vs. Raiders with ankle injury, replaced by Siemian

Denver Broncos quarterback Paxton Lynch suffered an ankle injury in the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders and was ruled out for the rest of the contest.

Lynch was seen in tears on the bench after being removed from his first appearance of the campaign.

He was replaced by Trevor Siemian.

The Broncos have juggled quarterbacks all season, beginning with Siemian under center for the first seven games. After going 3-4, Denver replaced him with Brock Osweiler, who started the past three games, all of which the Broncos lost.

Lynch had been nursing a shoulder injury all year before being named the starter for Sunday's game.
