Food bank use pushed by costly housing, social assistance shortfall: report

The Ontario Association of Food Banks has released its annual Hunger Report, showing nearly half a million people in the province used a local food bank last year. The report cites insufficient social assistance rates and a lack of affordable housing as the main reason.
