Houston Texans tight end C.J. Fiedorowicz suffered what's believed to be his fourth concussion in two seasons last week and, as a result, his career is in jeopardy.

Either by choice or the advice of team doctors, the 26-year-old might not be able to play again, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

Fiedorowicz has been limited to five games this season. After playing in the season opener, he was placed on injured reserve with a concussion. He returned in Week 10 only to land on IR again last week with another concussion.

The 6-foot-5 pass-catcher had a career season in 2016, hauling in 54 passes for 559 yards and four touchdowns. Concerned about his concussion history, the Texans included a stipulation in his contract that would reduce his base salary if he were cut due to concussions, according to Schefter.
