Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck addressed reporters Friday for the first time since returning from the Netherlands, where he was undergoing rehab and soft-tissue work for the shoulder injury that's sidelined him all season.

"My gut and my feeling tells me I won't need another surgery," Luck said, according to Zak Keefer of The Indianapolis Star.

Luck added he expects to begin throwing again soon and anticipates being ready for the start of the 2018 season.

"I don't see (being ready) being in jeopardy at all," he said, according to Andrew Siciliano of NFL Network.

The team added that Luck expects to be available for OTAs, training camp, and everything related to the 2018 season.

Luck hasn't played since Week 17 of the 2016 season.
