Roethlisberger, Bell inactive vs. winless Browns
The Pittsburgh Steelers will sit stars Ben Roethlisberger and Le'Veon Bell for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Cleveland Browns, the team announced.
Landry Jones will start in place of Roethlisberger.
Pittsburgh will also rest top offensive linemen Maurkice Pouncey and David DeCastro, along with standout defensive end Cameron Heyward.
The Steelers have already secured a first-round bye, but could still earn home-field advantage throughout the playoffs with a win over Cleveland and a New England Patriots loss to the New York Jets.
Pittsburgh is already without two of its key contributors in Ryan Shazier and Antonio Brown, so it appears Mike Tomlin will be cautious with his remaining stars. Shazier is done for the season, while Brown is reportedly expected to a return from a calf injury for the divisional round.
