The Oakland Raiders are expected to move on from wide receiver Michael Crabtree during the offseason following his worst statistical campaign since joining the club, Michael Gehlken of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

The Raiders can save $7.75 million by releasing the 30-year-old and wouldn't incur any dead money by doing so, according to spotrac.com.

Sources told Gehlken that the Raiders no longer believe Crabtree is worth the "baggage" he brings. The 30-year-old has 56 catches for 601 yards and eight touchdowns in 13 contests.

Crabtree was suspended for one game because of his latest altercation with Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib.
