6,000 vehicles stopped in RIDE program over holidays

Hamilton Police festive season traffic statistics are out, and the department's enforcement efforts resulted in 10 arrests (seven males, three females), seven impaired charges (alcohol), seven "over 0.8 charges," two refusal to blow charges, six motor vehicle accidents (alcohol-related) and 116 provincial speeding offence notices.
