One of college football's most intimidating big men is heading for the bright lights of the professional ranks, as Oklahoma offensive lineman Orlando Brown announced Wednesday that he will be declaring early for the 2018 NFL Draft.

After talking things over with my family and coaches, I will be declaring early for the NFL Draft. It's been an amazing 4 years here. I wouldn't want to be a part of any other university. Thank you Sooner Nation!!! aiTM3/4

Brown is regarded by many to be a potential first-round pick, and the 6-foot-8, 345-pound junior was instrumental in providing protection for Heisman Trophy winner Baker Mayfield at Oklahoma.

This season saw Brown take home unanimous first-team All-American honors as well as winning the Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year Award and being named to the All-Big 12 First Team. He was also a finalist for the Outland Trophy, given annually to college football's best interior lineman.

Brown started all 40 games he played in at Oklahoma over his three-year career.
